| Environmental Site Assessment and Remediation

DESCRIPTION
The environmental condition of property is an important issue in real estate transactions. Buyers and sellers must be aware of potential environmental liabilities for contaminated soil and groundwater, regulatory noncompliance and buried wastes. This two day seminar will provide information on contaminated site assessment and remediation. The seminar focuses on cost effective approaches, methodologies, and technologies. Case studies, which are included and distributed as part of the presentation, are based on real projects and will reinforce the concepts and methodologies.
OBJECTIVE
To provide participants with in depth knowledge of site assessment and remediation methodologies and know how. Practical and proven remediation technologies most often used at contaminated sites will be presented. For each technology, the following attributes will be presented: physical-chemical principles, unit processes, applicability to waste types, cost, time to complete, advantages/disadvantages, removal/destruction efficiencies.
