The mass consumption of hydrocarbon fuels for the purposes of producing electrical energy that is the driving force behind global development, is also the problem that drives to ever higher levels, the pollution of our planet. The pollution of our planet is not some story created to scare us. It is a fact. Both North and South Pole are melting at an alarming rate. This rate accelerates even faster when the ice that melts over the tundra exposes the methane gases that rise into our atmosphere. Methane gas is 21 times more potent than carbon dioxide as an atmospheric pollutant.
At present this alarming meltdown rate heats up the area that surrounds the forests. In the Yukon, insect infestations are killing Yukon’s forests because the deep cold that once regularly killed larvae no longer freezes the southern part of the territory (1). The changes in water temperature affect fish, and fish are vulnerable to diseases you find in warm water (2). Forests are feeling another effect of global warming, in 2004 twice the average area of forests were burned, and that was 10 times what was burned earlier (3). Animal migrations have halted or altered direction because of the changes in vegetation (4)
When we generate power for our homes or factories, today we are polluting the atmosphere.
A town of 10,000 homes uses about 10 Megawatts of electrical energy. With it we power our appliances, cook food, heat water, and even entertain ourselves with radio, television and computers. In one years’ time, that town is responsible for sending into the atmosphere 400 tons of pollutants, as well as using up one million gallons of fossil fuels or 1,250 tons of coal. So if you live in that town you are part of the problem, like it or not.

Power Tube has developed a solution with merits no other power generating system can offer. The development of Power Tube has brought to the fore the ability to produce energy in areas where energy has never been available before. The original concept of Power Tube was that it would secure its renewable energy from geomagmatic resources. This resource is found in the regions that encompass 164 countries that abide within the “ring of fire”. But further investigation proved that a Power Tube would probably work just about anywhere there is a geomagmatic resource with a constantly regenerating resource, this due to the adaptation of the Thermal Riser. This device is designed to go as far down as 7,500 feet where in most areas on the planet, temperatures are 600 Deg. F+. The Power Tube requires only 300 Deg. F for operation due to the system propulsion design.
The original world wide market, study produced a key niche market that was not being addressed. The market is the one, five and ten Megawatt power market. It can be either non-connected or interconnected.

Recycle Features: Power Tube the unit itself is recycled. As can be seen in the graphic, the Power Tube is maid up of modules. There are 4 basic modules. The service life of a Power Tube is placed at 5 years. The service life is dependant on the lowest life cycle guarantee of the Power Tube component suppliers even though there is a minimum 6 year life guarantee by all suppliers. All suppliers must be ISO 9000 + and 14000+ certified in order to be qualify as a Power Tube supplier.
Power Tube Philosophy: There have been many groups and individuals offering their financial assistance to the organization, the organization prides itself in the fact that its philosophy is one of respect for the environment and the improvement of the quality of life in the areas where Power Tube may be deployed. As it is well known, many of the would be finance organizations and individuals that have only profit as an agenda have been declined participation in the Power Tube Organization.
Comparative Pricing: One of the most important aspects of the Power Tube operation is the pricing of their electricity. The production of Power Tubes in an mass assembly system creates a low cost environment for the users of the power the Power Tubes produce. This price is well below today’s power costs and can be seen in the graphs as shown on Figure 2. In the graph, Argus refers to the Argus A 1 prototype model . This model is the forerunner of the Power Tube production line 1 Megawatt unit. It is compared to all other known sources of electrical energy as to operating and installation costs.

We start at the bottom with the geomagmatic resource. As long as we have a continually available resource there is no danger of the installation cooling down its surroundings.
The Thermal Riser is seen in the hot brine section up to 500Deg. F
A hot rock installation follows where the Heat Exchanger operates.
The entire unit is underground except for the control cabin, a footprint of 10Mt. X 10Mt. x 3Mt. high.
The Joint Venture System
Power Tubes will be deployed throughout the world through its’ joint venture organizations. The decision was made that this would be the fastest approach to world wide pollution reduction, taking into account that many thousands of Megawatts in the future need to be produced, old hydrocarbon powered power plants decommissioned and something must take their place. By establishing a world wide assembly and distribution system it is estimated that a lot of pollution and hydrocarbon consumption can be offset. The plan is t establish 20 joint venture centers around the planet. Each would be able to provide up to 500 Power Tube units a year, from modular plants that would distribute and install those units in the adjacent countries, members of that joint venture group.
Presently there are 3 joint venture organizations progressing to establish their assembly plants, and 5 more with application in the selection process. The joint ventures are conspicuous by their inter-relational structure. For example we can look at these organizations on their web sites:
www.powertubemesoamerica.com is organized in Central America and takes in Belize, Lower Mexico, Guatemala, El Salvador, Honduras, Nicaragua, Costa Rica and Panama. It does so under a mutual treaty among these countries called “Plan Puebla, Panama”.
www.powertubeandino.com is organized in with Colombia, Peru, Ecuador, Bolivia and Venezuela. The mutual treaty that unites these countries is the “Pacto Andino”.
In the southern cone of South America, we find www.powertubemercosur.cl Chile, Argentina, Uruguay, Paraguay and Brazil make up this joint venture group.
If the goal of 20 joint venture assembly plants, each producing 500 Power Tube units is realized any time soon, the world wide benefits for the inhabitants of this planet can be tremendous. Let us follow these simple mathematical tables.
- A 10 Megawatt Power Tube would keep 400 tons of pollution from the atmosphere.
- A 10 Megawatt Power Tube would eliminate the consumption of One Million gallons of hydro carbon fuels.
- A 10 Megawatt Power Tube would eliminate the consumption of 1240 tons of coal used to make steam for power plants.
- One Power Tube assembly plant can build and deploy 500 Power Tubes a year.
20 Plants X 500 = 10,000 Power Tubes.
- 10,000 Power Tubes would eliminate 4 million tons of pollution.
- 10,000 Power Tubes would eliminate the consumption of 10,000,000,000, gallons of hydrocarbons. OR,
- 10,000 Power Tubes would eliminate the burning of 12,400,000 tons of coal.
This is a clear picture of the benefits of the Power Tube on a planetary scale, and we have very dedicated people all over the world putting together the resources to make this program a reality.

| At this point, we would like to bring attention to a very sad event in our lives. On the 26th of December we lost one of our champions. Javier Morales, Director of Power Tube Merco-Sur and head of his engineering and environmental organization, SIGESA. He loved nature, respected the environment, fought hard for the clean up of a region where a Chilean paper mill had polluted a beautiful and pristine lake and in the process killed off several hundred black swans. Javier believed 100% that he could make a difference and he worked tirelessly to do so. He presented his views and chastised authorities for what he perceived as a careless attitude toward the environment in columns for the press and in his oratory and speeches at Universities. We the members of Power Tube feel a deep loss for this international champion of the environment. We share with his family, his close friends and co-workers his loss.
